stte: Telecoms I think we are likely to see a flood of new companies offering free personal numbers soon, Yac and Coms.com are doing just that. It's a service offered free to the subscriber, but the calls to the number are higher, presumably to pay for the service
stwp: WAP WAP, Wireless Application Protocol is a system which allows WAP enabled mobile phones to surf the net. The sites you can visit have to be specially written to support WAP but these are growing fast so theres plenty to see. Basically WAP looks pretty naff compared to a PC browser, but it's a step in the right direction and seems to be very popular.
