   Opera is a free web browser currently in version 10 as of September 2009, first released in 1996. It runs on many operating systems including Windows, Mac, Linux and Solaris. It is right up with the top players.

   Acid 3 is the latest widely acknowledged compliance test for web browser software. If you click on this link and your display does not read 100/100 then your browser is not compliant. Chrome 4, Safari 4, Opera 10 all passed, Firefox 3.2 marginal fail, Microsoft IE8 is useless (as of Sep 2009). Click the Wiki link for details.

   Safari is a web browser developed for the Apple computer in 2003 but since 2007 it has been available for FREE download on PC systems. It is really fast - as of September 2009 the fastest javascript processing browser - even faster than Chrome and is Acid 3 compliant. Go try it... why are you still here, install it then use it to come back!!!

   Google never stand still do they! They have launched a web browser called Chrome and to be honest, after using it for many months, it is very, very good. Incredibly fast, on par with Apples Safari. You should really try this one.

   Fed up with Internet Explorer? Mozilla Firefox is a great free alternative, its faster and more more efficient then other browsers and sports features such as tabbed browsing. It has a good fan base!
