   Since 1996, Alexa has been collecting and processing information relating to website popularity using it's millions of downloaded toolbars. Alexa lists the top 500 websites on the Internet and allows you to query the ranking of any website URL.

    TinEye launched in 2008 and is a reverse image search engine. It uses image recognition technology and rather than typing in a name and retrieving images like Google, you upload an image and it searches for similar images.
