These days, there is a free open source option to substitute many enterprise level chargeable solutions. Linux, Apache and MySql are obvious examples. Open Office is the free alternative to Microsoft Office. It contains Word Processor, Spreadsheet, Presentation and Database systems which can read and write Office 2007 XML format.
